Every
morning at 10:30 am guests who wish to wander further afield are
provided with free transportation to Charlestown for shopping then on to
famous Pinney's Beach just 15 minutes from the Inn. Our restaurant
called the Pavilion offers a large menu including seafood cooked to
perfection on a charcoal grill, plus cold salads, sandwiches and even
delicious cheeseburgers and fries. You may find it difficult to choose
between our famous lobster sandwich or lobster salad.
| Presiding
over the well-stocked bar is Manager, Rolston Hobson, creator of
the best rum punch on Nevis and possibly the entire Caribbean,
according to Gourmet Magazine.

Here
are some different beach experiences you can have:
- Superb
lunches with a lovely sea breeze.
- Waves
that gently float you back and forth.
- Wonderful
views of neighbouring islands.
- Watch
the
many varieties of yachts come and go.
- Walk
the beach for 4 miles uninterrupted.
- Meet
local fishermen and see their colorful days catch.
- Talk
to the interesting people gathering at the bar.
- Maybe
meet a judge, a famous writer, or an entertainer.
- But
if you want to just curl up under one of our
thatched umbrellas and read a good book, you
certainly can.

The Windward Beach
for body surfing
To
go even further afield, there is a secluded beachcomber's strand of
beach tucked into the island's wild and surfy windward coast on the way
to the horseracing track where we have races once a month. You can see this strand from your cottage's
front porch. Since Nevis is situated right along the North Equatorial
Current, strolls along the beach have occasionally turned up Portuguese
glass floats that were swept across the Atlantic.
